Let’s give this some attention.
COUPLES THERAPY FOR YOU AND YOUR BUSINESS · THE RESET
Sometimes there's something happening in your relationship with your business that you can't quite put your finger on.
You might know what needs to change, but find yourself struggling to make it happen.
The Reset is a focused four-week private experience where we make space for an honest conversation between you and your business.
RECOGNISING THE MOMENT
Does this sound familiar?
There isn't always a crisis. Sometimes it's simply the recognition that things could be different.
You know something needs to change.
There may be a decision, a difficult working relationship or a new direction ahead. You know what needs to happen, but something keeps getting in the way.
You keep finding yourself in the same situation.
Taking on too much. Struggling to let go. Feeling responsible for everything. Wondering why familiar frustrations keep returning.
You still care, but something feels different.
The excitement may have faded, your needs may have changed, or you may be questioning whether the relationship you've built is still the one you want.
A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE
What if your business isn't just something you run, but something you're in a relationship with?
Every relationship carries expectations. Some spoken. Others never quite acknowledged.
Your business has practical needs: people, money, decisions, attention and direction.
But you bring something to the relationship too. Your hopes, your history, your beliefs about success, your responsibilities and your life beyond work.
Sometimes these fit together beautifully. Sometimes they create tension that isn't immediately obvious when you're concentrating on running the business.
By looking at the relationship rather than only the business problem, we can begin to understand what's happening between you, and why certain things might feel so difficult.
WHERE WE BEGIN
The letters open the conversation.
Before our private sessions, you'll experience a facilitated letter-writing workshop.
You'll write to your business, reflect on what hasn't been said and give your business a voice to write back to you.
It may reveal appreciation, frustration, uncertainty, ambition or something you hadn't expected.
These aren't letters to be marked, assessed or turned into a business plan. They're an opportunity to hear the relationship differently.
They become the starting point for our work together.
INSIDE THE EXPERIENCE
What happens in our four weeks together?
We meet privately for 90 minutes each week. There isn't a fixed topic for every appointment. Your letters and the conversations we have will help us discover where our attention is needed.
There are, however, some important things we may spend time exploring.
The story of your relationship
How did this business begin? What drew you to it? What has changed along the way? We might return to moments of excitement, disappointment, pride or loss to understand the relationship as it exists today.
The patterns that keep appearing
We might explore how you respond to uncertainty, responsibility, growth or other people, and whether similar patterns appear in the rest of your life. Sometimes a present difficulty has a longer story.
The expectations between you
What do you need from your business, and what do you believe it needs from you? Which expectations are realistic, which are inherited, and which have never been openly questioned?
The choices ahead
We consider what you want to preserve, what needs to be different and which decisions or conversations might help. The aim is to respond with greater awareness, rather than simply repeating something familiar.
The structure supports the conversation; it doesn't dictate it. We may spend much of our time on one important issue, or discover something unexpected that needs our attention.
BRINGING IT TOGETHER
What might you take away?
We won't try to solve every challenge in your business or promise that four weeks will change everything.
But we will make time to understand what has emerged, identify what matters and consider how you want to continue the relationship.
Not necessarily a different business. Perhaps a different way of being in relationship with it.
We finish by bringing the conversations together, recognising what's become clearer and considering what you want to do with that understanding.
WHO YOU’LL BE WORKING WITH
A conversation shaped around you.
I'm Will Taylor, a psychotherapist and therapeutic coach working with founders and business owners.
My approach combines the depth of therapeutic exploration with the practical awareness of coaching. I'm interested in the whole person, not only the role they occupy at work.
That means making room for the relationships, experiences and expectations that shape how you experience your business, while remaining attentive to the realities of running one
THE PRACTICALITIES

A dedicated private two-hour letter-writing experience, followed by exactly the same four weekly 90-minute sessions.
Five weeks in total, with the flexibility to begin at a time that suits you.
THE INVITATION TO BEGIN
Shall we talk?
You don't need to arrive with all the answers, or even know exactly what's wrong.
If something in your relationship with your business feels like it needs attention, that's enough to begin a conversation.
